There is no better way to discover the hidden secrets of Lake Diefenbaker than by being right on the water! Speed boat, houseboat, sail boat, jet ski or ferry, no matter what kind of watercraft you have, just make sure you have one so you can see and travel to parts of the lake only accessible via the water! Whether you prefer to take it all in while relaxing on a sailboat on a beautiful July afternoon or you would rather see it while moving along at full throttle, there are plenty of undiscovered spots along the lake; with over 800km of shoreline, you are bound to find the perfect site.

Full serviced marinas are located at Riverhurst, Elbow and Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park; meeting all of your boating needs from launching your boat into the water, fuel for your tank, fishing tackle or live bait for your hook, everything you need is at your fingertips. Several other boat launches are located at various locations all around the lake; you need not drive too far to get on the water. If you’re looking for boat rentals look no further, rentals are available at Sask Landing, Hitchcock’s Hideaway, Elbow and Palliser Regional Park with several different types of watercraft to choose from. Water sports abound while you make full use of the lake, from tubers to kneeboarders, wakeboarders, water skiers, jet skiers, sailers, canoeists, kayakers and the like. We’ve got water, and plenty of it, so why not spend your next vacation relaxing on us! If you are looking to take a dip into a pool; swimming pools are located at the Outlook & District Regional Park as well as the Palliser Regional Park.

The South Saskatchewan River is also an excellent place for a relaxing Canoe experience.

Lakeside Marina Service - The Lakeside Marina is approximately 2 kms west of the town of Elbow, just past the golf course. Lakeside marina is a full service marina, having both gas and diesel available on the dock service, along with fresh water and pumpout facilities.
